A Celebration of Harry Potter 2018: Universal Studios Orlando

To say I am overwhelmed with joy is such an understatement. You guys know how much I love Harry Potter. I know to people who don't have that emotional or sentimental connection, it's strange because it's just a book or a movie. For me, though, Harry Potter is a feeling and just means so much more. I've made so many friends through Harry Potter, actually had huge advancements in my life because of Harry Potter and just honestly feel like I've grown and become a better person from the messages at points in my life. Obviously apart from my family and friends, my Bookstagram and blog honestly are some of the happiest parts of my life now. You all are SO unbelievably kind and supportive and a huge part of it is that we love Harry Potter together. So it's almost impacted me in every way! (Shoutout to my mom for buying me the first book and starting to read it to me back when I was five!)

So if you want to see some highlights from my day at Universal Studios (I live in Florida and have the annual pass so we just went for the Saturday!) I am including them below! At A Celebration of Harry Potter, I got to meet some VERY inspirational people for me, saw some more inspirational people speak and generally just enjoyed the fandom and the generosity and goodwill that comes along with a community so focused on love!

My Goals for 2018

(Sweatshirt from Out of Print - it's the coziest!!!)

Hi, friends! I know you may be thinking it's a little late for a post like this - they usually roll around right at the start of the month - but I figure it's better late than never!

So let's get into my goals for this bright, shiny new year! Also, hope you're ready for some cute, bright sayings and quotes because I've included some. :)

My Dream Reading Space

Okay. If you follow me on any social media, you're probably used to my love for interiors. I know some of y'all LOVE interior decorating and some of you don't really care for it - which is totally fine! I do, however, want to explore my love for this area on my Instagram a little more and definitely here on my blog. I feel like it's safest to try out some things here on the blog because you guys don't have to engage with it if it's not your cup of tea.

This post is purely for fun - sometimes we just need to get our creative juices flowing, you know? I've been writing more than I have since... Well, since I lived in New York over a year ago. So this is incredible. This new story means so much to me because it's got a little bit of everything and, most importantly, a lot of me in it. That said, I am a super visual person and I find myself just envisioning the setting so often. I turn to Pinterest a lot and I decided I just needed to do a post like this one.

Ready for it? I'm sharing my dream reading space with you guys! I love a classic, traditional look with some polished bohemian and global accents to add life and fun. Plus, I always have and always will love the beach with my whole heart, so there's gotta be some of that in there, too!

Obviously my favorite shops are One Kings Lane and Serena and Lily! And I do love a good Pottery Barn piece. Overall, I love found objects and unique items that add personality. And here's how I find amazing pillows on Etsy!

My PB Teen x Harry Potter Obsession!

Hi y'all! I am really excited about this blog post because I knew once I got the Golden Snitch from Santa, I had to do a little PB Teen x Harry Potter blog post.

(Featuring these amazing pajamas, no big deal, they're just the comfiest and perfect for common room or bedroom lounging!)

So the Pottery Barn Teen Harry Potter collection is basically a bunch of the cutest Harry Potter decor for your home. In this post, I'll show you what I have!
